Inspired by a Frederick County, Virginia cupboard from the late 18th century. The piece, with its ogee feet and broken arch pediment, represents a level of design sophistication that was not often achieved by rural cabinetmakers of the day. Like an original, ours is nailed together with square wooden pegs covering the nails. Fixed wooden shelves, mortise and tenon construction including tiny tenons holding the mullions in place. Wavy antique glass hand glazed in place, solid brass fittings. American Black Choose from Cherry or Maple with Tiger Maple Raised Panels.
